The candidate shall have experience in the HVAC design, and potentially in the Architectural design, for survival shelters, living quarters, electrical rooms, technical rooms, workshops, control rooms and canteens. The candidate will define the HVAC (and Architectural, if applicable) list of activities and list of deliverables, time schedule and control activities in accordance with project requirements. In particular, the candidate will be responsible for the following activities, either executing the design in person or involving an engineering contractor: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning design (Mandatory). Development of the project design philosophies for HVAC design (Mandatory). Thermal calculations, HVAC sizing, selection of the HVAC equipment and estimation of the electrical loads (Mandatory). HVAC technical specifications (Mandatory). Preparation of PFD e P&ID for HVAC (aeraulic and hydraulic), of the HVAC equipment list and of the Material Take Off (Mandatory). Technical bid evaluation and post order follow-up (Mandatory). Living quarter design (including electrical, hydraulic, plumbing and fire and gas) (Desired). Definition of modules layout according with project requirements, Company and international standards (Desired). Development of the project design philosophies for Architectural design (Desired). The role can entail business trips in Europe/abroad. Qualifications The candidate shall have a degree in technical studies and demonstrable experience in HVAC (mandatory)/Architectural (desirable) design for oil & gas, naval or industrial projects. The candidate shall be fully conversant with applicable ASHRAE, ISO, SMACNA, SOLAS, NORSOK standards and "Oil&Gas" standard practices, and shall have experience in a design team or owner/contractor project-based environment. Significant experience in the design of FPSO and FLNG facilities would be an advantage for this position. The candidate shall have knowledge of equipment and construction materials, of international codes and engineering standards, and skills in problem solving, communication and team working. Candidate shall be experienced in the use of the following software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). HVAC main software.
