A Development Team Lead is required for a permanent opportunity to work with an established Software House providing bespoke security products. The role will be based working on-site in Swansea with some flexibility for remote working. We are looking for a Development Team Lead with a minimum of 6 years development experience, with a passion about what they do and previous experience of managing a small team. You will also be a strong communicator, able to provide project status and progress to all stakeholders whilst leading the team in the successful delivery of our products and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. As Development Team Lead you will be involved with user story creation and refinement as well as visibility into the product plan. This will include responsibility for the management of technical scoping, scheduling, resource allocation, product deliverables and utilisation targets. The Development Team Lead will be responsible for facilitating and enforcing the DevOps process, including: Communicating project status and progress to all stakeholders - ie operations and senior management Being a bridge between the technical and non-technical stakeholders Adapting to priority and requirement changes based on customer and business needs Enforcing and maintaining development standards The role will also be responsible for all aspects of team HR, with a particular focus on personal development and career progression. You will be able to identify and assess where additional support is needed and work with team members to address. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic DBS check.
